Hi folks,
Due to the recent twitter hack (see http://www.nydailynews.com/tech_guide/2010/09/21/2010-09-21_twitter_hacked_dont_move_that_mouse.html ) I won't be updating my twitter account for the immediate future. When the problem is solved I'll start posting again.
In the meantime, here's today's ENG2D update: we reviewed our summary assignment and read "A Man Who Had No Eyes." The homework questions were:
1. Give a two sentence physical description of the blind beggar. (2)
2. Give a two sentence physical description of Mr. Parsons. (2)
3. Describe the beggar’s speech (e.g. is his grammar/speech rough? Sophisticated?) with an example (quote) to back your description. (2)
4. In a paragraph, compare how the disaster affected the two men and how they went on with their lives. (4)
These are due Wed. Sept. 22.
